SMASH or PASS: Jacki-O
The rapper who said she ‘F*cked’ her way to a deal is now an author. Could she get a sample of your penmanship?
Remember the female rapper Jacki-O? Well she’s now put down the mic and has been working on her second career as an author. She made waves back in 2008 while promoting her first book Grown & Gangsta she revealed that she had to
“Everybody that signed [to Poe Boy] had gotten their advance money, but when it came time for me to get my advance, I had to fuck for my advance. It was ten stacks and I had to fuck for it. So naturally, it wasn’t something that I’m proud of doing.”
She would later say that she regrets having to whore herself out for her record deal.
“My intentions was to really to express the regret that I had for having to have sex and just the way that people are abused when they are under authority. When you in a situation when someone is telling you, ‘Hey, this is your dream, you can be this, you can go off and do what you love to do, which is write music and be an artist, but you gotta have sex.’ I’m from Liberty City, Pork ‘N Beans projects. I mean, come on.”
She has since turned that energy into a book career and is about to release her second effort, an autobiography titled “Relentless.” It details her life as an aspiring rapper growing up in Miami, her mild success and her commitment to helping people with disabilities.
Lets call a spade a spade it wasn’t lyrics that Jacki-O leaned on to get the spins she did. Its more of what she said and looked like. So Nation, lemme know SMASH or PASS?!

Man, I’d smash this daily. Not sure why folks hate on Jackie. She’s ghetto, but she’s beautiful in my mind. She looks different than other women – which helps.
