Tenn. Teens Set Fire to Church Bus By Burning Bible Pages
In the words of Group Home: “The world’s about to end…”
Police in Tennessee are investigating a rather unique arson aboard a church bus. Officials are saying that the a group of teens used the pages of bibles to help accelerate the flames.
The blaze broke out on Thursday evening, when authorities believe two teens set pages of the holy book on fire and threw it inside the bus. Investigators say evidence indicates traces of fire extinguisher which indicate they might have changed their mind at some point during the indicent.
Charred pieces of the Bible were scattered throughout the Middle Tennessee Baptist Church parking lot, when church goers arrived at the scene.
The bus only received only minor damage. Assistant Pastor Joel Young said each Sunday they are used for an important mission.
“The disrespect to God’s property is how we see it,” he said.“These buses are the heartbeat of the church. Some of the buses you see go pick up children who can’t get rides come to the church. We provide that for them.”
“Hopefully we’ll get some information from it,” said Assistant Chief Allen Swader with the Murfreesboro Fire Department.
The teens could likely face arson and vandalism charges if caught and convicted.

That is sad… you read about things like this in the bible and the natural disasters as well… I wonder if it is about that time…

Even as I classify my religous belief, or non-belief, as agnostic nihilist, I still hold no tolerance in my heart and mind for the disrespect or callous destruction of items or ways that other hold as sacred to their religon. I don’t know exactly where people that commit act such as these go when their life ends,but when they are alive the place is called prison. And I hope they can trump up the charges on a terrorist or hate crime precedent. Give them all the time needed to think over what has been done.

I am not 1 2 judge a person but a persons deeds is another ball game.
