Beyonce Carter has teamed up with The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to become the official spokeswoman for their limited-edition “Fashion For Haiti” t-shirt. She joins fashion designers Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch and Tommy Hilfiger who have already signed on to endorse the effort. All proceeds from the project go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Mandated by President Obama, the fund grants assistance to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
“Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt,” Beyonce encourages in the PSA. “Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti.”
The Peter Arnell designed shirts go for $25. The shirt goes on sale today at high-end boutiques like J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, DKNY, and Rachel Roy.. For more information and a list of where you can cop, visit CFDA.com.
