SOUND OFF: Joe Jackson Says He Needs An Allowance. Does He Deserve One?

Posted by Mike "Evorgleb" Belgrove

Joe is asking that he get a regular allowance from the Michael Jackson

One of the saddest thing to happen since the death of Michael Jackson is how everyone is scrambling to make money off of it. Most of the people profiting off of Michael Jackson feel they are doing it in the “spirit of Michael”. Sony is claiming that Michael would have wanted his fans to see This Is It. They other Jackson brothers got a reality show where they are trying to put together a MJ tribute because “thats what the fans would have wanted”. Everyone is cashing in though they may want you to believe that everything they do are acts of benevolence. Everyone except Joe Jackson.

Joe Jackson’s attempts to capitalize on his son’s death have been so transparent that it’s almost sickening. How can any of us forget that red carpet event where instead of speaking about how the Jackson family was dealing with the loss of Michael, he chose the live television moment to do a pitch for his new record label that will sell albums on Blue-ray discs (BTW dumbest idea ever). Now instead of riding the popularity of his late son to business success, he has decided that he just should get a regular allowance from the estate of Michael Jackson. A hearing is taking place in May to decide whether Joe will get some dough or not.

So I ask you Nation. Does Joe Jackson deserve to get paid for the rest of his life off of his dead son? He did help mold the “King Of Pop” into the money making machine that he is was and still is. Does that mean he should get a piece of the pie.

It might be better to give him his allowance.
.
If he doesn’t get his money, he’s going to be “forced” to dig up his son’s body, and drag it around town for a series of pay-per-view specials.
.
Dudes been pimping his kids for 40 years. Who knows, maybe one of these days he’ll grow up, grow a conscience, and go out and get his own job. Either that or he’ll start dating Dina Lohan; they’re two of a kind.

All I can say is Michael is his Son…He raised him and he’s entilted to just about everything he wants. We get the celberty confused with family. What if it were your son and everyone is cashing in on him but you. What would you do? It’s your son!

If it were MY son, I would have more dignity than the rest of the scheemers and leaches profiting off his name. When Joe Jackson dies, I don’t think anyone is going to be sad he is gone!

I think that everyone(Joe Jackson included) who’s trying to make money of of Michael’s death should realize that he’s GONE, & stop turning a sad occasion into a money making opportunity. PEACE!!!

You can say the same thing about Martin Luther King Jr. People have been making money off him for years. As well as Elvis.
