Nelly To Leave Hip Hop For a Gig at ESPN?
Will be a reporter for ESPN the Magazine but could this be a career shift?
Entertainer and sports fanatic, Nelly has landed a gig at ESPN as a part-time reporter. Maybe its not permanent but given the milk carton status that is his recent career it should be. Much like Lil Wayne who succesfully blogged for the website, Nelly will be a guest interviewer for ESPN the Magazine at the sixth annual NEXT event in Miami this February (which not coincidentally coincides with the Superbowl.)
Nelly who SAYS he was at one time a major league baseball prospect will interview from the red carpet. I guess its as close as he’ll get to the stage inside where more Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo will be the headlining musical talent.
