Jay-Z & Beyonce Once Again Forbes Top Earning Couple
Although making $40 Million less than a year earlier, the dynamic duo still raked in a combines $122 Million
Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce Knowles once again reign supreme as Forbes Celebrity first family taking home the top spot on the magazines annual Top-Earning Couples list for the second straight year. Since getting married, the couple has produced some of pop cultures anthems including “Single Ladies” and “Empire State of Mind” but their extracurriculars including performances, clothing ventures and endorsements by companies like American Express and Budweiser.
Between June 2008 and June 2009 the couple earned a whopping $122 million putting with Beyonce being the primary bread winner raking in $87 million to Jay’s $35 million. Although this once again earned the duo the top spot, their earnings are significantly down from the $162 million they brought in collectively during the same period a year earlier.
BeyonJay however were well ahead of the field almost doubling the earnings of the second place finishers, Harrison Ford and his girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, who earned a combined $69 million.
