Former 40/40 Club Bouncers Get 14 Charges From Videotapepd Beating

Posted by Juan

Two men assaulted by bouncers outside club fight back against attackers

You might remember a few months ago when bouncers from Jay-Z’s famed 40/40 Club in Atlantic City were caught on tape apparently beating down and spraying with fire extinguishers two patrons who were previously removed from the club.  After the video surfaced, support swayed in favor of the victims who at the time were charged with disorderly conduct.  Since the tape was leaked all nine bouncers have been fired.

With the public support at their back, the two men, Leonard Clark and Tyrell Durant filed a list of 14 charges including aggravated assault according to XXL.com and Press of Atlantic City.  More trouble for the embattled 40/40 franchise.

People are getting away with less and less dirt now a days. If it weren’t for Rodney King would we even have YouTube? Would TMZ be as popular? Caught-On-Tape has become a regular part of our everyday vernacular.

So true.
.
The technology is becoming more affordable and accessible. When that Rodney King situation popped off I didn’t own a camera, video camera or cell phone. Now, everyone has some sort of recording device at their reach. And they don’t have to wait to get home to let the masses aware.

Yep just hit the “share” button. You can even hear the guy taping talking in the background that he had the whole incident on tape. His intentions were clear from the beginning.
