RZA To Unveil Giant Painting In Celebration of His 20 Years In Music
Victory or Death to drop New Years Day
This New Year’s Day instead of watching the ball drop at times square you might want to check RZA who yesterday announced that he unveil massive canvas painting that he’s been working on in celebration of his 20 years in the music business.
Naturally the Wu-Cheif was very guarded about the details only to say the project will be called “Victory or Death.” Not to lose sight of the commercial ramifications, The RZA will be selling limited edition of 360 prints of the canvas, which will go on sale on January 1.
In an interview with MetalHammer.co.uk, RZA reveals the peice is based on “the concept of ‘hearing the call and revolution in an inspiring and provocative way…”It didn’t begin 20 years ago… more like 200 years ago. And when you see the piece we’re making right here, you’re going to know what I’m talking about. We’re about to rewrite and change history.”
Ahhhhhhh the RZA being far too deep for all of our feeble minds to understand.
