SOUND OFF: What Are The Top 10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger?

Posted by Juan

As the ironic Golf Digest cover hits newsstands we wonder what the most powerful politician can learn from the most powerful athlete

Golf Digest

Sometimes the world is so filled with irony it almost seems like its all one big set up.  Golf Digest couldn’t have “teed this one up (pun intended) for Highbrid Nation any better. Both Tiger Woods and President Obama share the cover of the January issue of Golf Digest with a cover story titled, “10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger.”

While clearly intended to be lighthearted, amid recent events the cover comes as the two are facing the toughest battles of their still young careers, Woods’ with his MistressGate and Obama as he gambles his administration on his decision to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

The two have enjoyed a close relationship, with Woods calling Obama’s election “incredible,” participating in his pre-inauguration ceremonies, and visiting the White House.  Now will they’re downfalls be ironically marked by this somewhat cryptic cover.
