SOUND OFF: Is Tiger Woods Hiding Something?
You may have heard that Tiger Woods was in a car accident but did you know he refuses to talk to police about it?
You may have heard over the weekend that Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident near his own home. Shortly after pulling out of his driveway, Tiger struck a fire hydrant and had to be rescued by his wife who busted out the rear window of the car with a golf club to get him out of the vehicle.
Details are sketchy but rumor has it that he was actually trying to get away from his wife when he got in his car in the first place as they have been doing some serious beefing lately.
The oddest part is that Tiger seems to be refusing to talk to authorities about the accident. Though he did release the following statement on his website…
As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore. This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.
Sound off. So what do you guys think? Is Tiger hiding something or is he indeed just trying to keep it a private matter?
Personally I have a little trouble trusting anyone with 300 teeth.

Well, he admitted he did something wrong and that there was an incident, which was his fault. I hope he has a prenup!
There are so many touchy subjects here… Good topic of debate. Squeeky clean sports celebrity, Race, Interacial issue, Possible infedelity, Possible Alcohol use? Where do you start with this one?
I think Tiger was drunk as hell…. Come on now… Who hits Fire Hydrants??? You know who??? Drunk people do!!!! That’s who! He’s just keeping it from Po-Po, in order to keep his squeaky clean image intact… That all!
OK, I said I wasn’t going to comment on this subject, but here I go anyway.

I think he’s covering for the wife. The original story didn’t fit, the changes to the story didn’t fit, and the 911 call (from the only person who doesn’t have anything to gain/lose by concealing the truth) doesn’t fit the story that Tiger and Mrs Tiger are telling.

First of all… an accident so slow that it doesn’t set off the air bags probably wouldn’t have knocked him unconscious as the 911 caller claimed he was (on the ground).

Second, if you hit a fire hydrant with a Cadillac Escalade, the fire hydrant is going to lose. They’re made of cast iron and can’t stand up to any real force (they’re designed that way).

My personal opinion is that the wife went postal, and that Tiger is covering for her because he loves her and doesn’t want to air all of this in public.

The latest from TMZ is that he has a full surveillance system at this house, and that the recordings will show what happened. Let’s hope he’s smart enough to erase the tape BEFORE they subpoena it. If he does that, he can probably get away with erasing it without legal problems. If he waits until after, it could be a problem.
alright let me tell yall wat happened. when he wrecked, yea his wife got him out of the car but after that she bust is head with the golf club. thats why he was lyin unconsicous in the street. OUT!!!!!!
-There was a fight, that’s for sure.
-The fight got heated, she started getting froggy with Tiger,hitting scratching….”I hate you” type stuff.
-Tiger say’s.. “before I catch a case and bust a Chris Brown on ol girl, let me bounce”.
-Tiger leaves in the Esclade, she follows in the Golf cart with a golf club to beat him like he was a run away slave. She breaks the glass, it distracts Tiger from driving, he hits the hydrant.
-Popo come to he scence, start asking questions, Tiger is like oh snap this could turn bad for my wife, makes up a bogus story.
-He refuses to talk to the police because he knows that if the truth comes out his wife might be working along side Chris Brown doing community work.
-I digress, it could all just be speculation.

Tiger made $110 MIllion (estimated) last year JUST off his earnings in the PGA and endorsements. Think about this….Homes was out half the season if not the whole season due to injury and his father passing the year prior. The LAST thing this dude is going to do is allow a Woman tarnish his image and he knows what’s at stake. He’s going to save his Wifes tail and keep pressing forward in his career. 1,2,3,4,FIIIIIF!!! Plead that Tiger!!
All I know is if i would have told the police that I refuse to talk to him I would have been locked under the jail…. damn people with money have it good
What rich powerful man doesn’t have a side piece. He’s just stupid for making it a fame seeking broad. He shouldve just hired high price hookers out of state/country and like everybody else.

Now that EVERYTHING has come out, including his voicemail asking that woman to change her voicemail greeting, it’s obvious that his wife scratched him up and came after him with a golf club. Tiger didn’t want to run her over and ended up crashing the vehicle after she broke the windshield. He cheated and got caught and doesn’t want his wife to get into trouble because he’s the one who cheated. So Yeah, he’s protecting her. He won’t protect himself and he’s ok with that(apology statement for transgressions) making him the villian. Just trying to score points with the wife after messing up.
