50 Cent’s Condom Busts!
Entreprenuer drops idea for revollutionary prophylactic as Science says its not yet possible
Earlier this year 50 Cent announced that among his many other entreprenureal ventures that he was planning to put out a new condom that would enhance users’ sexual pleasure by adding chemicals to the condom to boost men’s performance. However he says that he’s now abandoning the idea because his design for an innovative new condom failed to meet his scientific specifications.
The condom idea was conceived as part of an overall launch for a new safe sex campaign to rival the BET‘s Wrap It Up ad campaign, which he feels is no has traction with kids. Ultimately however the idea flopped because scientists couldn’t come up with a viable prototype.
“I was looking for the opportunity to create a new safe sex campaign,” he told WENN. “The Wrap It Up campaign is something that is used so often, it wasn’t effective anymore. So I thought this is a great opportunity for me to get involved…”But it just didn’t work out because I wanted things in it that wouldn’t work. I wanted things that would prolong sexual performance. You could just put it on and just go.”
My question…Is there even a market for such an enhanced condom? You’ve gotta assume that he’d charge a premium for that enhanced experience. But do you really put that much thought into the pleasurable experience of the prophylactic? Or do you just care that its there, it fits and doesn’t pop?

I use to couldn’t stand this dude, at least, what I’ve seen or heard about him in the past( as far as rumors).But I’m gain respect towards him, because the dude does give back to the community a lot and etc.
well you can’t necessarily give him kudos if the plan flops.
most people just hate on him but there is no real reason for it than his super success. The guy came up from the hood and has become richer faster than anyone i can think of. His is a very business savvy guy and has tons of ideas and continues to rejuvenate himself and make more and more money.
To answer your question Juan..
I think it depends of the Use of the condom..
- If its just for Jump-Off or a quick fix, those details are not necessary..
- But if your trying to make a special night for the Wifey or the Mrs..you would probably take the boosting performance into consideration (not you, but in general)…
On that note..I saw this coming..as you can see 50′s career is gearing toward a Buss itself..
