SOUND OFF: What do you think About DJ Hero?
Did Activision live up the promise of Guitar Hero and Rock Band for the Hip Hop Gen?
When Guitar Hero and Rock Band first hit the market, I dismissed it as kids play. That was until LYPHE (Highbrid Nation Since 2007) broke out the whole set for his 30th Birthday party a few years back. I was hooked. It was about that time that Guitar Hero really took flight.
The game has since surpassed Rock Band in sales and has even release two new games, Band Hero a play off Rock Band and the more Hip Hop-centric, DJ Hero which is taking the industry by storm. I have yet to jump on the sticks but as Wale demonstrates in this video it looks like fun. Have you played it? SOUND OFF! Tell us what you think.

I thought about getting this game as I have Guitar Hero for the fam and I’ve even read that the games as compatable (certain songs allow one person to be on the turntable and another on a guitar) but the price is a real turnoff. Its like 100 dollars and its hard to justify paying that much for a game that comes with a controller that i likely wont be able to use for too many other games.
but its also more fun.
It’s alright. It’s fun!!! But it has nothing to do with real DJ-ing. But, for a game…. It’s pretty damn dope! I much rather a real pair of turn tables. That’s way more fun…. Well, at least it is to me……
