GQ Magazine Names Barack Obama ‘Leader of the Year’

Posted by Juan

Duh! But what does the Right Wing think about the honor?

Leader of the Year

In what amounted to little more than a formality, GQ Magazine crowned President Barack Obama its “Leader of the Year” in its December issue.  The honor is party of G!’s annual “Men of the Year” awards.  While I think its probably the right decision, given how historic his presidency is, he could have done pretty much nothing in office and still been the only choice.  Is he deserving, probably not but who else would give it to?

If you ask me, the whole idea is kind of corny.  One award…Person of the year that’s it but I guess this gives GQ an opportunity to publish several different covers in hopes of combating the print format doomsday.

Perhaps more interesting than the cover though is exactly what the “conservatives” over at another nation, TheFoxNation.com think of the honor.  Its amazing how politics can create two totally opposing views of exactly the same issue.
