BEEF 2.O: 50 Cent Sues WorldStarHipHop.com For Using His Likeness

Tired of beefing with rappers and annoyed by paying empty retainers, 50 sics his lawyers on WSHH

50 Cent has made a habit of being an instigator, brewing beefs, creating rivalries and then in the end, using his extended resources and creativity chewing rappers up and spitting them out. But now it looks like he’s got a new kind of Foe. In a recent interview with Greg Street on his V103 radio show in Atlanta 50 revealed he is suing World Star Hip Hop (WSHH) for using his likeness.

“I gotta lawsuit against WorldStar for utilizing my likeness,” 50 explained. “A lot of people felt like that was my site because they seen my face on the cover of [the website] for a long time.”

“But Q (WSHH founder), you see, you should really be nice to me. Because you’re not nice to me, I’m not nice. I have lawyers on retainers and I have to pay them so much money anyway, so we’ll go back and forth to court until [they] can’t afford a subway sandwich. I gotta pay them anyway. … It’s already too late for [them],” he continued.

For the last couple of years, WSHH has featured YouTube like content catering specifically to an urban niche featuring everything from rap battles to Fat Back strip teases to silly random ish. Kind of similar to HighbridNation just in a video & viral format. I guess 50 ran out of rappers to antagonize. It seems like a frivolous suit and as 50 admits its probably not something he would pursue if his lawyers weren’t just sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to do.
