SOUND OFF: What Do you Think About the New Jordan 2010?
Are you digging the transparent thermoplastic urethane window?
To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of his first sneaker, Jordan is coming out of retirement…again. Well not exactly. Instead of returning to the court he’s releasing a new addition to the Jordan shoe franchise. Yesterday in Miami, Jordan Brand officially unveiled the Air Jordan 2010. Jordan previously said that following the Jordan 23′s they would no longer make any more original designs instead focus on remixing the classics with new color schemes and mashups.
VP of Creative Design for NIKE Tinker Hatfield and Jordan Brand Creative Director Mark Smith teamed up to create this shoe that they say meshes high in performance with Michael Jordan’s personality.
So SOUND OFF! What do you think? The globe thing on the shoe is what they’re calling a transparent thermoplastic urethane (TPU) window. Its not functional in any way or used for performance instead its what the shoe designers devised to represent Jordan’s ability to let opponents see a little bit of his game without ever exposing the entire thing. Hmmmm.

No different than any other Jordan that came out over the last 20+ years. Everybody always say “they ugly”, “that ain’t it”, whatever….The same mofos that say that always end up purcahsing several pairs. They’ll eventually grow on us, and people will buy the $h!t out of ‘em.
