Jamie Foxx And Martin Lawrence Really Are Making That Wanda/Sheneneh Movie
Yeh, seriously. This is not even just a rumor. It’s really happening.
Just yesterday me and my wife were talking about that skit from the BET Awards that appeared to be a trailer for a movie featuring In Living Colors‘s Wanda (played by Jamie Foxx) and Martin‘s Sheneneh (played by Martin Lawrence). Both me and my wife thought that people would love to really see such a movie (We both feel Jamie Foxx is long overdue for a return to comedy). Then today I get word that a Wanda/Sheneneh movie is not only in the works, it’s getting fast tracked. So you are likely to see it sooner than you might think.
Even though what was shown at the BET awards was indeed only a skit, the real Wanda/Sheneneh movie will follow the same plot of “modern-day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time.”
The film will be at least partial written by Jamie Foxx himself who has stated that he and Martin have wanted to do something together for a long time.
What would be especially odd about this movie is that it would feature character’s from two different shows making the jump to the big screen together. Seems like a legal nightmare in terms of who are the owners of the characters. Maybe Foxx and Lawrence actually own the the characters themselves though.
In case you missed it, below is the skit from the BET Awards that set the whole thing off.

SOUND OFF: Do You Think Snoop Dogg Would Make A Good ‘American Idol’ Judge?
Could you envision it? Fo Shizzle
Kanye West: Swizz Beatz is The Best Rap Producer of All Time. COSIGN?!
SOUND OFF: Do you cosign? If not who is?
CAPTION THIS: Rihanna Gets Waxed
Madame Tussauds DC wax museum immortalizes Rihanna.

This is the worst idea ever. While both characters were crazy funny back in the day hat ship has sailed not to mention whoever’s making it will have to pay these now established actors a fortune for them to act silly. In the same vain as the Wayans “White Girls.”
I did my research because this sounded to stupid to be true and I wanted to know why you would even joke about it, but nooooooooooooooooooooo! This ish is true and to me sounds to premature. I guess since Jamie already has an Oscar he don’t care and since Martin only has the hopes of Bad Boys 3, he don’t care. But seriously WTF, WTF, WTF!
CO-SIGN JUAN….THIS ISH WILL BE RETARDED AS HELL..IT WASNT EVEN FUNNY AS A SHORT
WTF is wrong with yall! well, it wont be a funny movie to you all but to whom remembers them and the shows they were in, itll be funny as hell!!!!!!! Do your homewrk people and recognize the real. Those two guys are two funny seperately. Just hope that the comedic points are overshadowing ea other when the script is written up.
