Just yesterday me and my wife were talking about that skit from the BET Awards that appeared to be a trailer for a movie featuring In Living Colors’s Wanda (played by Jamie Foxx) and Martin’s Sheneneh (played by Martin Lawrence). Both me and my wife thought that people would love to really see such a movie (We both feel Jamie Foxx is long overdue for a return to comedy). Then today I get word that a Wanda/Sheneneh movie is not only in the works, it’s getting fast tracked. So you are likely to see it sooner than you might think.

Even though what was shown at the BET awards was indeed only a skit, the real Wanda/Sheneneh movie will follow the same plot of “modern-day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time.”

The film will be at least partial written by Jamie Foxx himself who has stated that he and Martin have wanted to do something together for a long time.

What would be especially odd about this movie is that it would feature character’s from two different shows making the jump to the big screen together. Seems like a legal nightmare in terms of who are the owners of the characters. Maybe Foxx and Lawrence actually own the the characters themselves though.
