50 Cent Again Proves Why He’s Got the ‘Power’
50′s new fragrance launch illustrates why he’s one of the top AMERICAN entrepreneurs
50 Cent‘s new Power by Fifty Cent launches tomorrow (Nov. 5) exclusively at Macy’s.
“For me, power isn’t just something you learn on the street or in the boardroom — it’s a way of life,” the artist says of the scent, which mixes notes like lemon leaves, black pepper, coriander and nutmeg. “I really wanted to bottle up the rush it gives you so my fans can make it a part of their lifestyle.”
One thing you can’t deny about 50 is he’s a true businessman. Clearly he never grew up with any formal education in fragrances but just by that quote you can tell he’s totally bought in. Just think of the name “POWER.” It embodies what he’s all about.
No matter what the venture he never just slaps his name on a product. He wants to be involved from the product development to the branding and marketing. His passion being that detailed is what has made him the premier entrepreneur in hip hop and that includes Diddy and Jay.
If you want to get your hands on it it’ll run you at least $50.50 for a 1.7 oz. eau de toilette or $68.50 for a two-piece gift set of eau de toilette and after shave.

Remember when 50 used to be famous for making music. Seriously, I give the guy all the credit in the world. The best in hip hop can have their whole brand summed up in one or two words. Jay-Z is Swagger. Diddy is Style. 50 Cent is Power.
