Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Gets Her Black Face on For Holloween

Posted by Juan

Our annual Holloween Black Face WTF?!

Cowboys Cheerleader

While Black is officially back in style again invariably some folks will take it a bit too far and overstep their boundries.  I don’t know what it is but some people just don’t understand dressing in black face is just not cool.  It was bad enough when we saw the “Jackson Jive” do their sketch comedy skit on a Aussie TV station.  We chaulked that one up to cultural relativism and ignorance.

Whitney Isleib

But check Whitney Isleib.  She’s a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader who in light of the recession decided to skip the traditional cheesy plastic costume for Holloween and instead thought it would be funny if she showed up to a party as Lil Wayne dressed in black face.

Apparently there were enough shots of tequila around because her two black home girls to the side don’t seem to notice or care.   Oh and naturally she was not to be outdone I’m guessing that’s T-Pain or Dennis Rodman.

That really is in bad taste, it’s NOT funny at all. PEACE!!!

    • DM says:

She actually looks better in black face. She already tan to become a better color anyway. Without it, may there be mercy on her soul. LOL

  2. jaffeeono says:

Personally I dont find anything wrong with what she did,if it was a black cheerleader putting on white make-up and actin like Brittney Spears would it still be a issue??? Probably not, its one thing if she got a slice of watermelon in one hand and a piece of fried chicken in the other then I see a problem, but where does it say White people cant dress up or imitate the things we do.My people need to stop being so Damn sensitive we poke, act, and imitate there ways all the time and you dont hear them up in arms about it!! Think about the first 5-10 minutes of a black stand-up comedy routine, who do we 99% of the time point out in a crowd and talk about the way they act and live there lives…???White people, but tell me how many times in a white comedy stand-up routine you hear them calling out all the “Black Folkz” in the audience, and if they did then you know what happens next….Rev Al & Jeese on they way!! Bottom line, IF you throw a punch you gotta take punch!

  3. SeaCros says:

    that is bunk.

  4. Emerson Diaz says:

As a member of the official unoffical racial Determination Committee*, my two cents: there is a difference between what one person, at a party, does, and what a tv show/production company does. A Black face on tv is something that reaches perhaps millions and speaks to an ugly history. Some random white person who wants to be black on halloween, who cares? Technically, she does have to put on black makeup to be black. Apparently, her black friends must not think she is a racist, they are posing for pics with her…well, her judgement is kind of f*up…she’s dressed up as Lil Wayne!

  5. ca$h says:

    funny. so what…

  6. cynthia riddle says:

It’s very obvious to me you sir are not intelligent enough to write about real issues in the world. You have to pick on a young lady that chose to dress up as a music celeb. for a little halloween party. Go out and find real news worthy material, and make a difference.
To whoever leaked the pics, you are the real problem. This is about jealousy, nothing else.
Shame on everyone who is jumping on this ridiculous band wagon.

    • Emerson Diaz says:

Who are you talking about, Juan, ca$h, me?
Real issues? This is a real issue. You are not on CNN, lady (if you haven’t noticed)… You don’t tell people what to post. However, you may comment whatever you want. Can’t handle it? don’t come in here.

    • Juan says:

Agreed. Cynthia, we talk about more real issues than you could ever imagine here at Highbrid Nation. We take a more objective stance than you’ll see on any blog or news outlet. If you disagree state your case but attacking unidentified individuals is not productive. We welcome the difference of opinion but the Nation is tough and you better be ready to defend your viewpoint. Thanks for visiting.

  7. E.A. Smith says:

Ok Ok, I’m lost. In the movie Tropic Thunder Robert Downey Jr. did the same thing and everyone found it funny. A model and a cheerleader do it and it sparks controversy. Downey won awards and it reached millions through out the world, and it was funny. She does it in good fun and dressing up as probaly her hero. What is the difference. Jaffeeono brought up a good point also. We sometimes need to look in the mirror and just laugh.

    • Juan says:

Its interesting how everyone assumes I was faulting her for her actions. I was just presenting it to the Nation and as always let the opinions trickle down. Welcome back E.A.

  8. adifuluv says:

no body should be offended of anyone dressing like lil wayne… he and michael jackson is the ideal halloween costume… black or white!

  9. adifuluv says:

plus, we should really be offended by that fake ass Beyonce, who actually favors solange. wtf!

  10. 4pl says:

Black face isn’t ok, point blank period. Simply b/c the root of “Blackface” is an extremely racist one. Now I dont think that this young lady had any malice in her heart or meant any harm when she did this, w/that being said she and all other white or non-colored people need to be well aware of the historical context of putting on Blackface and why it’s not cool or acceptable.

We make fun of white people in comedy routines, so what! Their the majority(at least for another few years) and we’re the minority, they run everything we don’t run shit. My point is when the white race gets made fun of in a comedy routine or if someone dresses like a famous white person it doesn’t affect their race cause they already run and have everything, but when you’re still struggling for equality like black people are where not in a position to accept any form of disrespect. Nothing Slides!

The same rationale that it takes for a white person to put on black face as a joke, is the same rationale it takes for a white police officer to shoot black kids in the back or shoot up a car full of unarmed black kids. Because to a great deal of white people were second class citizens, clowns that they can make fun of at anytime, disrespect at any time, owned at one time, or kill at any time.

    Dont let nothing slide!

    • Juan says:

4PL brings up a great point. I think there’s a fine line between calling out someone for their stupidity or intensity and being offended.
      .
As I hoped the Racial Determination Committee would help point out that not everything that has racial undertones is racist. But when it is we don’t need to always respond adversely. We’re the most sensitive ethnic group. We spend too much time arguing, marching and protesting when there’s work to be done. While its important to note such actions perhaps our time could be spent more productively than being outraged by such behavior. We’ll just chalk this up to good debate.

    • Emerson Diaz says:

I feel you 100% Well stated.

  11. M3na says:

Well I thought she was Lil John personally

  12. macika says:

    And the beef goes on….

I keep tellin yall this type of crap is gonna keep happening so get your mind right.

  13. SiGGa DeNYo AveRich says:

lol I think that shit is funny.

  14. jaxon221 says:

No problem with it at all…This is a new generation where young white people actually like blacks. jaffeeono you said it best.
