Jay-Z, Alicia Keys Make Good on World Series Performance @ Yankee Stadium
Perhaps the lucky charm as the Bombers even the series at 1 a piece
After being forced to pass on performing prior to Game 1 of the World Series at Yankee stadium due to a prior obligation, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys took to the field prior to Game 2 to kick their duet, Empire State of Mine. I’m guessing the Yankees were inspired because they tied the series at 1-1. Like Ronan Tynan and God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch, maybe the Steinbrenners will have them back before every game.
