The Game Thinks Its Important to Drop ‘The’ From His Name
The least newsworthy post we’ll publish all year.
Well its official. If you call the artist formerly know as Chuck Taylor, The Game you’d be incorrect. He’s not officially just “Game.” In a world where I’m sure thousands of us in the Highbrid Nation are struggling trying to rub two pennies together we’ve got clowns like this so bored that they not only insignificantly change their name only slightly but give no reason for doing so. Clearly I’ve already spent too much time on this.
FILED IN Need to Know

Yes, but think of how much ink he’ll save over the years signing his name.
LOL, who cares!
I’ve seen a lot of rappers change their names so they could appeal to a larger crowd. Ghostface Killa became Ghostface. Ol Dirty Bastard became ODB. But I can’t really get this one.
Probably did it because of the tv show.
“He did it for the show”
Pass that chump a hug,He in need of sum attention since Hov didnt respond to his Lame ass!!
lol…
apparently he did it because of a legal battle with triple H
Ah. You’re right. I completely forgot about this. I think we even reported on that way back when the news first came out. Triple H uses the name “The Game” also. I guess they agreed to have the rapper change his name.
too much time on his hands!! but i guess he gotta do somethin to keep his ‘game’ name out there..
He probably got bucked on by the real “The Game” aka Triple H, Hunter Hearst Helmsley from the WWE. Remember DDP Diamond Dallas Page tried to sue Jiggaman for swag jacking the Diamond symbol he used in WCW. Rappers stealing from wrestlers, that’s a damn shame…!?!
