Tony Parker Developing Hip Hop Inspired Basketball French Cartoon
Tony Longoria takes his French Rap career to the next level
San Antonio Spurs point guard and French national, Tony Longoria Parker has inked a deal with Tele Images Kids to develop “Basketball Adventures,” an animated basketball series in which his likeness is depicted as an animated character. Parker says that the series will feature guest stars undoubtedly including his lovely wife Eva Longoria. Budgeted at 6 million pounds ($8.8 million), “Basketball Adventures” (a working title) has been picked up by French network M6.
The series will follows Parker and his street basketball team. According to director Frank Michel, it will have a hip-hop, urban touch which is not surprising given Tony’s affinity to the hip hop culture. He’s even dabbled with a French Rap career and has dropped a somewhat comical music video “Clip Balance Toi” that we’ve featured here. Check it out.
