Charlton: Chris Brown To Become A Minister?
Why I think it makes sense
Celebrity Gossip Blogger Janet Charlton recently cited a source close to Chris Brown that the singer may be looking to become an ordained minister. The source says its all part of Brown’s determination to prove to the world that he’s a changed man.
“He’s become more religious since the February incident and he’s found God again,” the source said. “He wants to become a minister – at least part time.”
Now yall might laugh and say this is ridiculous but hear me out. This is not unprecidented. We’ve seen musicians and athletes acend to the pulpit before. Take George Formean who after a 12-round decision loss to Jimmy Young in 1977 claimed God was calling him to the ministry and became ordained and retired from boxing for 10 years. Shoot, look at Ma$e. So Brown wouldn’t be the first one to make the move.
He’s already got the moves. Every good preacher’s gotta know how to dance as they give their sermon. He could be popping and locking while bringing down the house with his message on forgiveness. Lord knows he’s asked for his share of that.
But just in case he chooses the Christian ministry isn’t the path for him he’s already got the look for the Nation of Islam. With that get up that he rocked on Larry King even Minister Louis Farrakhan would be envious.

This sounds real corny to me, like he wouldn’t be seriously into the ministry, & jus’ trying to do an image makeover, so he’ll look “changed” in the public’s eyes, jus’ my opinion. PEACE!!!
I think he’s worried about his career period at this point. A change to gospel or a fan base that’s more forgiving might be key for his success.

He can do whatever, but as already stated, it only looks like damage control, which can only backfire on him. Any other issues he has in the future, because of his newfound “ministry” would be blown so out of proportion (even worse than it is now) and he would be out chances with the public. My two cents: chill, young brother, this too shall pass. Go to school, keep sharp by writing lyrics, keep dancing….in one or two years, come back strong.
Yeah Breezy just needs to stay away from the news for a while. Let the public forget about him because right now he is still a hated man. Stay away for a good while and like Emerson said “come back strong”. That will be the only way he’ll be loved again.
