Beyonce Sued By Abercrombie over Use of ‘Fierce’ Fragrance Brand
If I was her I wouldn’t even want to be associated with horrific stench they spray in all their stores
Earlier this week, Beyonce made headlines when she announced the launch of her new Sasha Fierce Fragrance. However the excitement may be short lived as she is now apparently being sued by clothing company Abercrombie & Fitch that claims the brand “fierce” falls under their trademark.
The federal lawsuit claims Bey’s brand “poses a likelihood of confusion” for consumers that could deprive it of control over a mark and cost it sales.
Since 2002 Abercrombie has sold more than $190 million worth its Fierce fragrance and expects $64 million in 2009.
Here’s the thing. Have you ever walked into an Abercrombie store? They spray that stench EVERYWHERE. Its smells like old wood. While its a cool smell for furniture I clearly wouldn’t put something that smells like sawdust on my body. In fact I didn’t know this but they actually have scent machines that periodically seep the fragrance into the air so you can’t avoid it.
“A&F’s intent is that all garments that leave the store have the Fierce scent attached to them,” the company says about its fragrance philosophy.
If I was Beyonce I would gladly switch the name. There’s no way I want to be associated with that nonsense.

just call it “sasha” and be done….
I disagree with them sueing her because there is a difference between Sasha & Sasha Fierce(not the same brand name). PEACE!!!
