Sprint Now Lets You Call ANY Mobile Phone For Free? Game Changer?
Nation, if you aren’t already on Sprint, now might be the time to switch
I’m gonna say it up front, I’m loyal to Sprint. Been with the company since I got my first mobile phone like a decade ago. i even own stock in the company. Honestly though it’s been a rocky relationship. Early on I was always getting insane bills with unexplained charges and no real help in getting issues resolved. I’ve been close to leaving the carrier many times in the past but I like familiarity and I’m probably a tad bit lazy thus I’m still with them all these years later. However, things are starting to change and I’m actually starting to be pretty happy as a Sprint customer. First the mystery charges stopped and my monthly bill is usually under $65 (and thats with one of the best data packages they have). Then Sprint got first dibs on the best mobile phone ever, the Palm Pre (which I would try to make love to if I wasn’t afraid people would try to judge me). Now they have taken it a step further and announced today that free “mobile to mobile” will be included in their service packages.
Every major carrier for the most part allows you to call other phones in your network for free but Sprint is now allowing you to call any other mobile service provider for free. Sprint to T-Mobile, Sprint to Verizon or who ever else. If it’s a cell phone then the minutes used won’t count against you. Just think about the amount of calls you make to other mobile devices compared to landlines from you cell phone. If you are like me, that would make a huge difference in my minutes used each month.
So what do you guys think? Is this a game changer? Are any of you going to switch over to Sprint right in time to cop that new Palm Pixi?

VIVA LA VERIZON!
Now if they would only drop the outrageous fees to upgrade phones. I too have been a Sprint user for years, but find it difficult to have the latest technology w/o paying exorbitant fees. A new subscriber can get the latest cheaper than a “loyal” customer. RIDICULOUS to say the least.
I agree that has been one of my big issues with Sprint. Verizon seems to be much better at rewarding loyalty
In thinking about this further it doesn’t seem as good a deal as it would at first appear. Sprint already offers unlimited calling for $90 and this is $70 just for mobile phones. I pay more @ Verizon but I have no complaints.
