T-Pain Says “F*ck Jay-Z” And Drops Auto-Tune iPhone App
Apparantly T-Pain feels he can make money on this auto-tune thing a bit longer no matter what Jay-Z says
Some of you may have already heard about T-Pain saying something along the lines of “F*ck Jay-Z. He’s old” at a recent event in Las Vegas. Why would Mr. Bend-her-ass-down say something like that about Jigga? Well, he may feel like Jay-Z is messing with his money. Jay-Z recently declared the “Death of Autotune” and T-Pain’s whole career is based on autotune. Not just for making music but T-Pain is now doing autotune software such as his recently released iPhone app, I Am T-Pain.
T-Pain has teamed up with software developer Smule to create a a new application for iPhones that allows the user to recreate the unique mechanical sound of T-Pain and record songs. Smule has released music software in the past but they now hopes that having a big name like T-Pain on board will equal bigger sales. For 2.99 I’m sure suburban America is going to eat this up. Unfortunately I have an iPod Touch and not an iPhone so the app wont function right for me or otherwise I’d probably be posting my own rendition of “I’m On A Boat” here on Highbrid Nation.

T-Pain…you just have to keep doing what you do. The problem was that everyone and their grandmother was doing that sh#t. Don’t take it so personal T-Pain. The death of Autotune isn’t necessarily an individual thing but an industry message.
If I’m not mistaken Jay-Z said that he wasn’t refering to T-Pain with the DOA track. Guess T-Pain didn’t get that memo
