Jay-Z/ Rocawear Drop US Open Special Edition Arthur Ashe T-Shirts

Posted by Juan

Proceeds will benefit AIDS charity and Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 Buzz Bank

Arthur Ashe Tee

In accordance with history and as expected the Blueprint 3 has already leaked all over the street, like motor oil.  However, Jay-Z seems focused and is not concerned about the potential piracy.

“I may be the most bootlegged artist in history,” he told MTV News. “It’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done, so enjoy it.”

Instead Jay-Z and his Roc Nation team are going guns blazing to promote the album which drops next week. From a 9/11 benefit concert, to interviews, to commercials to now a brand new Limited Edition Rocawear T-shirt featuring African-American tennis great Arthur Ashe, its all Jay-Z all the time.

The shirt is being sold at the 2009 US Open ArthurAshe.org (thanks Keith) and at USOpenShop.com to celebrate the USTA National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network’s 40th anniversary.  While financial proceeds from the $36 tees will benefit the NJTL and the Arthur Ashe Endowment for the Defeat of AIDS the residual publicity and marketing buzz is all going to Hov.
