BEEF 2.0 Raekwon Responds To Joe Budden’s Vlog/ Twitter issued Challenge
I’ll give this round to Joe
Here’s the latest chapter in the ongoing saga of petty beef between Raekwon representing the red corner aka old super conglomerate Wu-Tang and The Blog King’, Joe Budden representing the blue corner aka the new school super conglomerate Slaughterhouse (Joe, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9″)
As brief background in case you’ve been slipping on your daily Highbrid Nation read, members of Raekwon camp recently tried to clown Joe Budden’s vlogging prowess during a recent show on the “Rock The Bells” tour of which both had been performing. The ensuing fisticuffs was documented via a recent video blog in which Joe challenged Raekwon to a one-on-one “square dance” aka schoolyard style fight.
Feeling called out, Raekwon got his Beef 2.0 game together andssued this response. What do you guys think about online beef. Back in the day beef was limited to wax, then it was taken to violence in the streets with the East Coast/ West Coast feud. Recently it simmered down and was confined to the mixtapes but now its perpetuated on the net.

Blog Beef is wack,Just another form of Dry Snitching. I couldn’t beleieve when I heard Joe Budden made a Vlog about getting punched in the face. I said to myself “Is he trying to get someone indicted?”

I’ve read and watched all of the trash about this so called beef and I think this is just nonsense that will end in someone getting really hurt soon. Since staten island is like a very small lame island, that beef is very easy to hear about. Raekwon’s boy did indeed punch buddens in his face. How do I know? Well…there person who did it said he did it and all of that nonsense about Crooked I having people come up there to even the odds…nonsense.
The Ice Water Cats punched their way into Buddens’ room. His boy in the hallway got hemmed up like a little boy and then he was ordered to go get buddens.
I think the blog king needs to stop adding fuel to this ignorant fire because there are a few people who are about to get involved who aren’t as polite as Ice Water…ie. Ghost Deni and his goons.
Also, Buddens should focus his time on becoming a better artist instead of talking about someone. I mean come on. Everyone knows that Mef isn’t the best lyricist but he makes sales and he is doing his thing. Buddens is still riding the dull roar of “Pump it up”. The blog king and his girls better back down or get backed down.
If this is something that is unbelieveable…as Cam’ron who took his chain. Staten Island. Ask MOP who danced on Billy Dance’s face while lil fame ran…Staten Island. There are some really ignorant dudes out here. Stop feeding them. If not, they will do whatever it takes to shit on someone.
Where is the advertising? Where can money be made here? Is any one collecting paper off of this? If not, please back away from the mic, screen, video feed and go off and figure out a way to support your families and make a living.

I think it should be taken back to the way Reggae artists handle things: Get a venue, stand toe to toe and battle. Let the crowd choose.
