Teams with Elizabeth Arden for new signature sent called “Forever” slated to coincide w/ release of album but who knows

Mariah Carey has announced that she has teamed up with Elizabeth Arden to launch a signature scent for women called “Forever.” The fragrance which is slated to hit about 2,000 department and specialty stores next month could correspond with the release of her pioneering new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” if Def Jam can get their act together. However,with rumors of the project once again being pushed back, the synchronization maybe lost and with it an excellent chance to cross promote each venture.

You’re probably saying to yourself, didn’t she already have a Liz Arden perfume. Well this in fact is the third year in a row that the sexy R&B singer has unveiled a fragrance starting with her M by Mariah Carey in September 2007, followed by the ‘flirty’ Luscious Pink in June 2008, and now Forever.

“I am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time,” Carey, 39 told WWD.

According to Celebrity Brands the eau de parfum comes in three sizes – 1 oz ($42), 1.7 oz ($55) and 3.3 oz ($65), while the 0.5-oz parfum sells for $250, and the 6.8-oz body lotion for $28.
