BEEF 2.0: Joe Budden On Fight W/ Raekwon Camp on Rock The Bells Tour

Posted by Juan

Challenges assailant to a “square dance” one-on-one fair fight

The hip hop blogs are buzzing about the rumored incident Saturday, during the wildly successful Rock The Bells Hip Hop Tour.  A fight at a Hip Hop Concert…who would have thunk it?!  According to Joe Budden, members of Raekwon‘s camp approached him about recording some video footage for a blog, video mixtape or something.  Addressing him as the “Blog King” Joe Budden allegedly obliged.  But once the cameras got rolling a member of Rae’s team but probably not Rae himself took the opportunity to try and hit the entertainer, which would naturally provide very controversial and web traffic friendly material.

Once the ruckus was sorted out and reinforcements from Budden’s Slaughterhouse group member Crooked I were en route, Budden readdressed the situation.  In effort to resolved the beef, he requested that Raekwon himself go one-on-one with him in a “square dance.”

Naturally that didn’t happen which brings us to another chapter of BEEF 2.0.  So now Joey B. is on a blogging campaign to provoke Raekwon throgh intimidation via embarrassment until he agrees to the schoolyard fight.  My guess is there will be a handful of blogs tossed about the net for a couple weeks and maybe a diss record or two in an attempt to sell a few bootleg mixtapes but in the end there’s nothing to see here.  Now if Joe’s girl, Tahiri gets involved I’ll be sure to keep you updated.
