Dominican Born Heroes Star, Dania Ramirez New Face of Cover Girl
Will be featured in Outlast Lipstain campaign slated to launch early next year
I’m pleased to say that the Dominican Republic’s own, Dania Ramirez who plays Maya in the hit series “Heroes” has inked a deal with Cover Girl to become the latest in a long line of gorgeous women to endorse their product line.
“It’s been in the works my whole life. I’ve always dreamed of being a CoverGirl,” the 29-year-old told People Magazine. “Not speaking the language [when I got to America] and trying to figure out my definition of beauty, you learn to recognize the beauty in all of us. It takes a strong person to get where I’ve got.”
Ramirez will be the new face of Cover Girl’s new Outlast Lipstain campaign slated to launch in January of 2010. I’m not positive but I’ll go out on a limb and say she’s the first Dominican born women to become the face of CoverGirl, or any other major cosmetic company. Salute!
