Bride Hires Undercover Cop To Kill Her Groom While Planning Their Wedding
You can’t make this stuff up.
Dalia Dippolito, 26, was arrested Wednesday and charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder after she allegedly hired an undercover police officer to kill her husband of six months.
According to police, Dippolito gave an informant pictures of her husband, 38-year-old Michael Dippolito, and $1,200 for a hit man to purchase a handgun. An undercover officer posing as a hit man then called Dippolito to arrange a meet. The officer asked for $3,000 in cash and a key to their home. The officer and Dippolito then meet in a parking lot, where he asked again if she was sure she wanted her husband killed.
She reportedly laughed and said: “I will be very happy.”
Dippolito gave the officer getaway routes, info on her home’s security system and the whole 8.
“I’m not going to change my mind,” she responded, according to the documents. “I am 5,000 percent sure I want it done. When I set my mind to something, I get it done.”
Officers then contacted Dippolito at her gym and told her to come to the house. In the video you’ll see the officer tell Dippolito break down and cry upon hearing the news. She was then taken to the Boynton Beach Police Department, where she was told of the investigation and arrested.
