Common & The Roots Slated To headline Hennessy Mashup Tour
The Hennessy Artistry Series
Hennessy and emcee Common have teamed up to headline the fourth annual edition of the Hennessy Artistry series. Backed by hip hop’s symphony, The Roots, Common will embark on a four-city tour feature an eclectic mix of performers and special appearances. Over the last 12 months the Hennessy Artistry series toured the world highlighted their signature “Art of Blending” with a range of artists from countless different disciplines.
“Hennessy is the master of blending, and Artistry, is all about artistic blends of music genre, culture and style,” Common said. “The lineup is coming together nicely. The Roots and I are really collaborating to create a musical blend of talent that will do Artistry justice. We are planning some surprises as well, it should be quite an experience and I am thrilled to be a part of it.”
