T.I. Immortalized In New ‘Making The Band’-Like Video Game
Game allows users to they start as an unsigned musician and ultimately reach superstar celebrity status
Imprisoned rapper T.I. and his outfit, Grand Hustle Records, have signed on to appear in the new online video game “Platinum Life,” which gives users the opportunity to virtually build their music career from scratch with the goal of attained worldwide superstardom.
Like Making the band, the video game edition, players will be challenged to complete tasks for hip-hop icnos, do shows at open mics, and small clubs before minimal audiences eventually moving their way up through the music industry elevating their lifestyle and paygrade.
T.I. will serves as mentor guiding players through their ups and downs on the road to success.
“Our online game experience allows top-level artists to share their music, video and lifestyle with their huge fan bases in a personal and innovative way,” Anthony Castoro, co-founder and chief creative officer of Heatwave Interactive said via Press Release . “We feel that T.I.’s music, message and deeply engaged fan base make him ideal as an icon within the game.”
No word on whether serving time like T.I. will be part of the storyline.
