Kanye: Move Over Michael Jackson, I’m the New King Of Pop

Posted by Juan

How insensitive…oh wait its Kanye

Kanye

In the wake of Michael Jackson’s death, people have been talking about how his talent was cultivated by in concentrated psychosis.  We’ve seen example after example dating back to Mozart that the most gifted artists are often the most tortured.  So should we be surprised by the seemingly endless acts of foolishness displayed by the undeniably talented Kanye West?

With the dirt barely settled upon Jackson’s coffin (assuming he was burried) and his family still mourning and searching for answers, West has wasted no time putting in his bid to assume Jackson’s thrown as the new King of Pop.

In an ego driven rant  Kanye recently told ScrapeTV why he’s the best man for the job.

“You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I’m willing to take that on. There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King.

And if that wasn’t enough, Kanye First there was Elvis, then there was Michael, now in the 21st century its Kanye’s time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up  where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”

This of course isn’t the first such blasphemous declaration that ‘Ye has made.  Remember when he defamed the memory of our premier civil rights hero when he called himself Martin “LOUIS” The King Jr.?  I’ve said it before I love Kanye as a producer, I enjoyed some of his earlier works as a rapper but when he opens his mouth its like itching mosquito bites at 3AM on a hot summer night…so irritating.

Kanye is a self-absorbed, immature ass. He is irrelevant to me. I don’t pay attention to anything he says. Don’t care for his music, either.

  2. Juan says:

QUESTION…maybe the question of the day. Would you care more about his music if he wasn’t so annoyingly eccentric? Secondly would his FANS be as absorbed if he weren’t.

    • Emerson Diaz says:

Good questions. I dunno. I’m jaded anyway, because I don’t like… really any of the newer rappers. They just don’t say anything worthwile. The beats and production can be good, but what they are saying must make sense.

Yo I like underdogs, if he would shut the fuck up sometimes, I would listen to him. He’s a big mouth asshole. Just spit man, be a mc, be a producer, aint nobody tryna hear all that other shit. I think his fans live through him because they are (or want to be) as eccentric as he is, so he probably wouldnt have the same fan base. I think Kanye lacks a real personality, so he builds this over the top persona to get people’s attention, good or bad.

WoW, I guess no one on highbrid nation respects Mr. West. Dude is NICE when it comes to MUSIC, can the MAN live his dream. Music has been his life since he was like 5. He never ventured off and tried other avenues of success besides art. College Dropout laid the foundation and he’s been rising ever since. He’s true to his lyrics unlike 75% of the indusrty. Yall make it seem like Ye never says anything with substance at all. He’s going to be around for along time in this “MUSIC INDUSRTY” because mainstream HIP-HOP is slowly becoming a circus act. In the words of my childhood idol Diddy, “10yrs. from now, he’ll still be on top!” & Jay-Z will still be trying to make himself relavent, coming out of retirement for the 5th time. That’s my word… oNe

    Kanye,
I got a letter from the government the other day, I openned it and read it they say your a sucker!!!!

    Replace Mike…..NEVER!!!!
    Ye can’t dance
Ye can’t sing……two important prerequisites which Ye will never have.
