Fox News Glen Beck Calls Obama ‘A Racist’
Obama showed himself as a person with “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
While I don’t expect you to be shocked that a personality on FOX NEWS shared some very critical words for Democratic President, Barack Obama, Glen Beck comments as a guest on Tuesday’s “Fox & Friends” morning show was so left field the station’s senior vice president of programming was apologetic.
Beck’s comments stemmed from Obama’s reaction to the arrest of Harvard University scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. Gates, who as a black man and friend of the President was arrested for disorderly conduct by a white policeman over a misunderstanding about a break-in at Gates’ home.
Incensed by Obama’s statement during his recent press junket in which he said the police “acted stupidly”, Beck wondered what other president would be so quick to condemn law enforcement. The President has since backtracked from the statement and invited Gates and the police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, to work out their differences.
“I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people,” Beck said. “He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.”
The comments were so startling that even Fox host Brian Kilmeade felt the need to challenge them, noting that a majority of Obama’s staff are white.
Feeling the comments were too incendiary for even the Dem Bashing FOX, Bill Shine, Fox News senior vice president of programming, issued a statement saying that Beck had “expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions.”
An Obama spokesman, William Burton, said the White House had no comment on Beck.
Its amazing that in a press conference where the President spent literally hours discussing a very detailed and revolutionary health care plan the one thing that Beck can grab hold of was Obama’s comments about an isolated incident in Cambridge, MA. He was asked a question and answered it honestly, admitting he did not have all the facts in the case but going on what he knew… Tsk Tsk. Next he’ll be criticizing the President for going to his left to much when driving to the hoop during pick up games on the white house basketball court.

Sly Fox up to their old tricks. How is this allowed? Black people accuse whites of being racist all the time,but as a reporter you are a representaion of your network. If Sly Fox allow their reporters/employees to make statements like this, they, as a network, are co-signing to his comments. People condemned Kanye when he said that Bush didnt care about black people, and he had good reason to feel like that. He made that statement speaking for hiself, he wasnt an employee of any news outlet. This guy didnt even paraphrase he had the balls to straight call the President of The United States of America a RACIST!!! FUCK FOX NEWS!!!! FUCK GLEN BECK!!!!!!!!!!!

Talon, I understand you didn’t the story before you commented but your points are still valid. I think FOX, despite trying to separate Beck’s views from their “Fair and Balanced” coverage, behind the scenes they probably applauded his rant. There’s no secret how FOX feels about Obama and no little disclaimer is going to make me think otherwise.
People are goin to critize President Obama all day, but to make a statement like that is a personal attack. It is a blatent (I hope I spell that right) abuse of your position to publicly make a comment of that magnitude. One of the problems we face is that there arent enough outlets for blacks and latinos to report the news and their oppinions (blame BET). Can you imagine what would happen if a black or latino host said that Bush was racist? This is the type of shit that fuel the hate in Blacks towards whites.
I guess it was OK for Obama to call gun owners bible and gun totting rednecks, and appoint a racist judge to the US Supreme court. Those that voted for her will not go unpunished come the next election, I guess it was ok for Obama to call the Police in Massachusetts “Stupid” Can’t get the Conservatives off the air so lets try to censure free speech!
