Jay-Z Denies Hating on Chris Brown’s MJ Tribue, Calls ‘The Game’ a groupie
Hov addresses the rumors in an interview with BBC’s British Radio Host, Tim Westwood
While touring overseas, Jay-Z took to the British airwaves to clear up some rumors. In an interview on world famous Tim Westwood‘s BBC radio show, Hov addressed rapper The Game, whose recently barage of diss vlogs, comments and freestyles were apparently spurred on by Jay-Z’s brief “mentioned” of his name in a Las Vegas freestyle.
Speaking about the line in question (“I’m not talking about Game,”) Jay-Z asks how it could be a diss? Choosing not to spend to much time on the sensitive rapper, Hov instructs Westwood to “tell the groupie to get over it.”
On the other hand, Jay seemed far more pissed when asked about rumors that he blocked Chris Brown‘s scheduled Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards canceled amid his alleged lingering anger from his domestic assault.
“That’s the silliest rumor I’ve ever heard,” Jay responded. “First, let me categorically deny that. That’s not even my style. If I got a problem with Chris Brown, I got a problem with Chris Brown. I haven’t said anything — I haven’t said anything live, or behind the scenes. Whatever. I don’t agree with what he did, and that’s it.”
“That’s a sucker move, I wouldn’t do it,” he added.
