Black In America 2 Airs on CNN Tonight Hosted by Soledad O’Brien

Posted by Juan

Do you plan to watch?

Soledad

CNN correspondent, Maria de la Soledad Teresa O’Brien (yes, her full name) is back with the second installment of Black in America.  The first edition of her “groundbreaking” two-part series focused on the state of black society and was watched by over 13 million viewers. CNN’s (biased) estimates that total to swell to over 20 million viewers for this latest installment which premieres tonight, Wednesday July 22nd with part two airing tomorrow, Thursday July 23rd at 8 PM.

I missed much of the first edition when it first aired but have since been able to catch up via links online.  Are you all looking forward to it?  Did you think the first installment did a good job of demonstrating to the CNN audience what exactly it means to be “Black In America?”

Yes, I plan to watch. I went to preview screening in Chicago back on June 25 (yes, the day of MJ’s passing) and it is EXCELLENT!!! We didn’t see the whole show, but the preview segments were amazing.

  2. lyphe says:

yeah I will be watching this. the shows/segments are good

  3. 4pl says:

Not going to be able to watch live, but definitely on the TIVO set to record parts 1 and 2. I’ll sit back w/ my close friends V.S.O.P. and Chocalate Thai and watch a Spanish woman on a White Station tell me about being “Black in America” LOL. Seriously though the first installment was good I think this one will be as well
