MARKETING MATTERS: Rocawear & Mattel Launch New Barbie Collection
Even Ken’s getting the hip hop makeover
The black revolution 2.0 continues, the rumored Obama momentum has some serious legs. First Disney opens up to an African-American to star in her own animated film. Now it appears that Rocawear has teamed up with toy manufacturer Mattel to collaborate on a new series of Barbie dolls inspired by Rocawear’s upcoming 10th-year anniversary. Late last week, Jimmy Jazz posted some pix of the brand new Barbie’s of course dipped in the original Rocawear gear.
