Rumor birdies told me that Hova has a new home & 1 album deal with Warner/Atlantic and ol’ Def Jam pals Lyor Cohen & Kevin Liles
Warner/Atlantic’s Lyor Cohen & Jay-Z
Rumors are swirling that Jay-Z has agreed to a deal with Warner Music/Atlantic. Jigga has agreed to release the highly anticipated “Blueprint 3″ on Atlantic Records.
It appears Jay still has a pending deal to bring Roc Nation to Sony/Epic but this deal with Warner/Atlantic is for one (1) album and rumored to also include a label under Warner — Carter Music Group.
Jay-Z reunites with friends & former Def Jam head honchos Lyor Cohen, Kevin Liles and Michael Kyser. Blueprint 3 is expected to drop on the anniversary of the 1st Blueprint, 9/11.
Stay tuned as details emerge to confirm this news.
Sidenote: Atlantic also seems to be a serious contender for the Drake sweepstakes as well.
Lloyd Banks might head over to Atlantic as well.
Atlantic is home to artists T.I., Maino, BG, Diddy & Lupe Fiasco.
