D-Block Rapper Styles P To Pen Urban Novel
SP’s “jail mystery” book to be published with Random House
L.O.X. /D-Block Rapper Styles P will be penning a novel. Styles will become an official published author with his first foray into the literary world – a novel titled ‘Mr. Invincible.’ XXL has the details:
Styles describes the book as a “jail mystery.”“Mr. Invincible [is ]coming out [on] Nicki Turner Presents,” Styles revealed to XXL. “It’s just a fiction joint. It’s a little story, I’m just trying to get in another lane and do something creative and you gonna get to see it in a minute.”When asked if he had any help putting the work together Styles replied, “They got a little editing team but all the writing is me, all the idea is me, all the thought is me.”As of press time there is no release date for Mr. Invincible but Nicki Turner Presents/Random House will publish it. Turner is known as “the queen of hip-hop fiction,” with a slew of popular urban novels on the market.

I respect his hustle of finally diversifying & branching out into different arenas outside of rapping.
That’s what’s up. I write, and I really like seeing rap cats get in the game. It opens up new lane and attracts new readers from people who otherwise wouldn’t ever pick up a book. Heads are going 2 check it out, if for no other reason other than 2c how tight his Pen game is. I know I’d like 2 cop it once its on deck for that very reason.
But good move, GHOST…!!!
