FALLON LIVE: Beastie Boys Feat. The Roots – ‘So What’cha Want’
very cool
So Memorial Day while checking out Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and happened to catch that he was hosting the Beastie Boys in studio. While the TiVo guide only indicated that they were guests I tuned in hoping that we might see an impromptu performance with The Roots.
And while I knew it had been some time since I’d actually seen the Beastie Boys in person, I was shocked to see how they’d aged. What happened to those cool Jewish kids from New York? Grey hair and adult getups in full effect! But when Jimmy invited them to take the stage to peform “So What’cha Want?” it was just how I remembered them. Check it out…very cool.
