Nas Tells Kelis “You Gets No Dough And Pay For Your Own Lawyers”
Nas files papers in divorce court refusing spousal support and Kelis’ attorney fees
It’s being reported that Queensbridge MC Nas has entered his reponse to his estranged ‘with-child’ wife, R&B songbird, Kelis‘ divorce filing on April 30. In Nas’ response he asks the judge to refuse Kelis’ request for spousal support and is also seeking to have Kelis pay for her own representation.
Kelis filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences and incidents of infidelity,” while an alleged source close to Nas states that supposedly a past indiscretion from Kelis’ past that recently came to light while she was involved with the rapper is the reason for the demise of the marriage, allegedly.
The former couple are expecting their first child together (Nas’ 2nd) later this year and both have agreed to and requested joint custody.
Knowing that Kelis’ career is not really poppin’ right about now(she got droppped from her label and she doesn’t really move units like that) and being that she’s pregnant… she really can’t travel and do shows like that. Is Nas in the Right/Wrong for denying spousal support?

Ha! My man got two chicks names on him and he’s not with them anymore, so his current chick has to see their names all the time and is now wondering why he doesn’t put her name on him…LOL!! it’s crazy!
Shit man nowadays tattoos can be removed easily. the crazy shit is that people will get married, but getting a tattoo is just outta of the fuckin question. YO, you make a vow to God that you will be married till death do you part, thats permanant sun!!! so why is getting a tat so bad? I agree that you shouldnt get a “girlfriend” name tatted on you, I would get my wife name tatted tho. Shit think about it like this, you pay for a tattoo once, you can be paying for a divorce for YEARS!!!!! I cant say I agree or disagree with Nas, but shit I would’nt want my soon-to-be ex-wife living off me. Take care of the kid.

If she opened her legs to some other dude, and wants out of their marriage, why should he help her?
He still has an obligation to that child…but that’s about it.
