Duke Point Guard Attempting to Quarterback Syracuse
Fours years and done? Take this NCAA…..
Former four-year Duke point guard Greg Paulus is attempting to resurrect his place in the national spotlight. He has to seek a waiver from the NCAA to play by using his fifth year of eligibility. His goal is to play quarterback at the Big East’s Syracuse University.
His interest in college football was announced weeks ago when a story surfaced linking Paulus to the quaterback spot with the Michigan Wolverines. The football program, run by quarterback hungry head coach Bitch Rodriguez, is in need of some sort of change after failing to reach a bowl game for the first time in 3 decades.
Paulus was named the Gatorade National High School Football Player of the Year as a high school senior. He threw for 11,763 yards and 152 touchdowns during his career at CBA. His performance in the East West Shrine game for high school seniors left many scouts dissatisfied.
ANYWAY BASKETBALL DIDNT LOOK TO BE WORKING FOR PAULUS ANYWAY!

Enough with the objective stuff, my personal opinion is this….
The NCAA has two major $$ makers as far as sports are concerned: football and basketball. The NCAA generates more money than many professional leagues (MLS, CBA, Arena League 1 +2). Yet, the players are paid nothing, however given a free education? Those of us who have attended a high-powered collegiate school with top notch athletics knows these kids are there to play ball. Schooling takes a second seat when you are on the road for 4 weeks in March playing basketball. Free athletic slavery.
So to hell with the NCAA and use them for the fifth year Paulus. I can go on and on about this…..
great images, i just don’t understand the 1 yr thing, what can he do?
