Marketing Matters: Estelle Helps Launch Belvedere’s Black Raspberry Vodka
Top notch vodka brand Belvedere taps Estelle to luanch new flavored vodka
R&B singer Estelle has been tapped to assist in the launching of Belvedere Black Raspberry flavored vodka. The Black Raspberry flavor is the latest addition to Belvie’s flavored liquors which include Citrus and Orange.
The Grammy winner also teams up with accessories designer Jonathon Kelsey to introduce an exclusive Belvedere overnight bag to promote the Black Raspberry vodka. The major selling point of the vodka is that it is macerated and uses blends involving black rasberries and black currants.
The ad campaign will focus on a play of wording with Maceration and the other word that rhymes with it. Taglines like “Maceration is Natural” & “So You’re Curious about Maceration?” will fall into the edgy category of advertising. I guess “Maceration Will Make You Go Blind” and “Everybody Macerates, even Estelle” didn’t go over well with the execs huh? LOL!!

Very interesting angle. Belve has really fallen off with the emergence of Ciroc and the repositioning of Goose. This is an attempt to steal some of the funky hip hop audience. Its so crazy how relevant we are now.
