As Mike pointed out this morning, Twitter is popping!  Everyone is on it and sending tweets from just about anywhere, doing anything.  Its almost become a competition to see who can send the most outrageous message.

Well if a weekly award had to be given CNN’s, Suzanne Malveaux would take home the prize in a landslide.   The White House correspondent finished a half marathon over the weekend in New York’s Central Park and sent updates about her progress to her followers on Twitter DURING THE RACE.  As we learned via her updates the reporter bumps Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige in the deck for inspiration.

Malveaux, who has now completed three Marine Corps Marathons, one Paris Marathon and Sunday’s More/Fitness Half Marathon which she ran in just over three hours.  But this most recent race granted fans unprecentented acess via her Blackberry.

SuzanneMalveaux: Running half marathon. Full marathon cancelled (sic) cuz heat. 82 degrees now. Thousands in park. Mile 3. Lots chatter, excitement, music

SuzanneMalveaux: Half way through. Runners already crossing finish line. Amazing. Knees crunchy. 85 degrees. Wishing now I had trained a little more!

SuzanneMalveaux: I’m melting. Last time ran in this kind of heat crawford, tx. Got any advice? Mary J and Jay Z on ipod keeping me going

SuzanneMalveaux: Uphill! Are you kidding me?

SuzanneMalveaux: Father and son just hit me with squirt guns. Volunteer yelling move it! Grrrr. Almost there.

SuzanneMalveaux: Finished the half marathon. Now time for a kobe beef burger!
