The New Hot Trend Amongst Celebrities? Tattoo Removal

Posted by Mike "Evorgleb" Belgrove

People are starting to realize that getting all that body art may be something you regret later.

In the last few years the amount of people getting tattoos has skyrocketed as has the amount of tattoos those people are getting has also increased greatly. As with anything else, in the entertainment industry, the trend is extremely augmented. If you can picture the top hip hop artists in your head, about half of them are probably completely covered in tattoos, right?

However, just like the tattoo business has taken off, so has the business of tattoo removal. Why are so many people paying to get artwork removed after they already paid so much to get it in the first place? There’s a few reasons. In the case of rappers, their tattoos may be getting in the way of them making money. It’s tough to do photo shoots when certain parts of your body have to always be covered up due to having a distasteful image. And what about those rappers wanting to move into movies.? Having tons of tattoos could seriously lessen your casting opportunities.

So now we are seeing rappers and other celebrities running to get the ink off their bodies. As you can see from the image above Pharrell is in the process of getting every tattoo removed from his body.

So who out there in The Nation is tatted up and do you think you may one day get yours removed also?

I have 2 tattoos, one on each arm. Although I don’t regret getting them I do wish I would have made a better choice on one of them. I have a skull with a bandana covering his face and a desert eagle on each side. I wish I wouldn’t have added the guns. But oh well what are you gonna do? So is the removing process painful? Any opinions?

  2. TheBolB says:

I heard it was very painful….why not just cover the guns up or the whole tat with somethin bigger

I have a hard time making up my mind on what to eat for dinner let alone what to permanently stamp my body with. I’m a person whose riddled with guilt so I feel fortunate that I was never tempted to ever get a tat.

I only have one….”RESPECT” on right my arm…I was young..still has meanin, wish i was tat free too tho…
