Homage to Jackie Robinson, The 1st!
62nd anniversary of the day he broke the so called color barrier
Â
Today Major League Baseball celebrates Jackie Robinson Day to honor of the first player to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball. Big ups. Mets to name impressive archway entrance to their new stadium after this Icon. Kudos Mets. His number is retired in Major League Baseball but for today any player can wear number 42 and many players around the league do wear it to pay homage to his legacy. President Obama is our 44th president but before 44 it was 42, Jackie Robinson.MVN Outsider
