Gatorade G Launches Hip Hop Flavored ‘Blockhedz’ Series w/ Talib Kweli

By know you know I’ve been all over Gatorade G’s new campaigns and their popping new site, MissionG.com. Well this week Gatorade took the initiative totally left field into the hip hop arena with a new web animated series entitled, Blockhedz.
The online cartoon follows “YoungBlak,” played by Talib Kweli as an aspiring rapper who uses the power of hip-hop to conquer evil along with his sidekick “Eatho” played by the legendary Bobbito Garcia. Blokhedz premieres new episodes monthly on MissionG.com but peep the premiere episode “Thinking Of A Master Plan” above.
ahh nice dish, good vid, beats is crack
we’ll see where Gatorade takes it. It’d be ill if they could spin it into a animated comedy show on television.
