Nas, The Roots, KRS-One, Common Headline Acts @ 2009 Rock The Bells Festival
25 acts on two stages
Well for those of you who live in a cold weather state you’ve just about had it with the snow, wind chills and sub zero temps. But the big thaw is here and summer’s just around the corner. That means barbecues, bikinis and of course the Rock the Bells Hip Hop festival.
Reknown as perennially one of the can’t miss Hip Hop concerts of the year, The Rock The Bells festival organized by Guerilla Union announced its star studded line up Wednesday. The event which will visit 10 North American cities (June 27-Aug. 9) will be headlined by Nas, Damian Marley, the Roots, Big Boi and Common. Each tour stop will feature a mindblowing 25 artists on two stages
Other’s scheduled to attend include KRS-One, House of Pain (with all original members, featuring La Coka Nostra), Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli, Hi Tek), Murs, Pete Rock, Slum Village (Baatin, T3, Elzhi), Buckshot and K’naan, Tech N9ne, RZA , Raekwon, Sage Francis, Mickey Facts, Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9,” Crooked I), M.O.P., Charlie 2na, Necro, Eyedea & Abilities, Evidence, Alchemist, Psycho Realm, Mystic Jouneymen (Sunspot Jonez, Lucky I Am), Tabi Bonney and Supernatural.
Although dates and venues have yet to be finalized tour stops include Toronto, Washington, D.C.,Boston,New York, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Vancouver.
