Raggae Star Luciano Arrested after Shootout that Wounded 3 Jamaica Cops
Former Grammy Nominee charged with harboring a fugitive in the exchange which killed one
Reggae star Luciano‘s Kingston, Jamaica home was the site of an hour-long shootout last week. The Grammy-nominated artist was later arrested and charged with harboring a fugitive. The gunman allegedly shot and wounded three police officers in the exchange.
According to Police Superintendent McArthur Sutherland, the standoff ended with the gunman, Andrew Senior, being killed. Two of the injured officers still are hospitalized. The other officer was released. Luciano (44) whose real name is Jepther McClymont, was charged Monday but is free on bail.
